Hello,

I am working on building a website using a Joomla 51 template. Is there a good manual, or online source that goes into detail about all the capabilities available? The tutorial on this website is not detailed enough.

For example, I cannot figure out how to create a module with a background color. Anyone know how to do this? Wondering if it is even possible.

Documentation found at http://www.joomla51.com/tutorials are the only details specific to the template available.

By default there is no option to edit the background color of your modules. You can however create a class for your color which can then be applied to your module via the 'Module Class Suffix' field.

Firstly add something like the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (edit to taste)..


.module-red {background-color: #851e21;}


You can then add this class (module-red) to the 'Module Class Suffix' field of your module parameters to apply that background color.
