Hi Ciaran,

I try to realize the first multilangual Joomla 4 site using the J51 Template Emani.

I have problems with the two main menues for german and english.

I place this modules at the hornav position of the template. As you see in the added screenshot the formation has lost.

Deep in my mind there was a setting moomenue???

I am sure you have an idea for this?

Thanks
Jürgen

Thank you Kees

To amend we have added the following to your template CSS...

.mod-languages {
min-width: 50px;
}

It appears that as your top menu width is fully populated with items it was squashing your languages module.

Hi Kees

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Hello Juergen and Ciaran,

I have nearly the same issue as Juergen.
I'm using Emani for Joomla 3.10 and want to place the language-filter in the menu. At the end of the menu I will have the language flags.
But the flags are not shown and I see that they are placed in an ul/li.
How can I make the language-filter with flags visible in the menu? With or without hornav?

Thanks for helping.

Hi Ciaran,
I solved the problem, in the advanced settings of the modul I choose Standard and all works fine!

Hi Ciaran,

to use the hornav menue for multilangual site I choose the option converte to module position (hornav)

So I did in joomla 3 Templates before, there I find the information:

Converting menu to a Module Position
When creating a menu module for the hornav module position ensure to add moomenu to the Menu Tag ID field of your modules parameters. This enables the animated dropdown menu as seen on our template demo.

If creating a multi-language site a duplicate menu module needs to be created for the responisve mobile menu. Duplicate each language menu module setting the position to hornav-mobile and set the Menu Tag ID to mobile.

Thank you Jürgen

Are you using your own custom menu module? Your menu module appears to be largely populated with Bootstrap navbar classes which I believe is not the typical of the default Joomla menu.

Hi Ciaran,

here the URL: https://www.knechtwebtestet.de/emani/

I converted the modul position to hornav, so the menu works but not the format of the menu.

Hi Jürgen

Would you have a URL to an example of this issue?
