Hi everyone,

I've created a website using the Everly template by J51. The link is https://kathrin-gabler.com. My problem concerns the arrows from the main menu which don't align properly with their text (see screenshot 1). It seems that depending on which browser you use to visit the site, it either aligns properly or not. I've tried it with the following browsers so far: Edge, Chrome, Opera, Vivaldi, Firefox. From all the browsers I've tried out, only Firefox showed the menu arrows properly aligned with the text (see screenshot 2). My skills with Joomla and CSS are still on the beginner level and I wasn't able to find any solution to my problem. Is there a way to solve this issue?

Thank you very much for your help!

Kind regards,
Alina

Hi Alina

Updating your template to the latest download should resolve this issue for you. For details on updating your template may I suggest the following article.. https://joomla51.com/tutorials/joomla-basics/updating-your-joomla-template

If the issue persists after updating, may I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Hi Ciaran

Thank you very much for your response. I updated the template now and it worked insofar, as now, there are no menu arrows at all. I wasn't able to find an option to reactivate the menu arrows. I also tried to use the fa-sort-down icon instead but it overlaps the menu text (see screenshot). Do you have an idea for this?

Thanks a lot for your help,
Alina

Hi Alina

Well that is not ideal :/ They should be displayed by default.
