I have purchased a really cool template. I've downloaded it and followed the instructions, but I get "JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file" when I try to install. What have I forgotten to do?

Hi Wanderer28

Please ensure you have unzipped your download before installing. Once unzipped you will find your install file in the corresponding folder.

I've unzipped the download. I am using the Joomla Extension manager. I'm not sure how far into the folder I need to drill. What should the extension read? Which folder should I have in the "Upload Package File"? The Joomla "Install a template" page has "...\template_package.zip." I've tried that with no success. I've gone down to a down to folder called "j51_doctrine" (which contains all of the website files) also with no success.

I can't find anything that is an "install file" in any of the folders.

Sorry. Should I be copying and saving the folder somewhere outside of the Download folder?

This error is most commonly caused by attempting to install your downloaded template directly into Joomla.

Your purchase includes a number of different files and folders. For ease of download we have zipped these files and folders in to a single package. Before installing you must first unzip this package. The install file for your template will be located in the corresponding Joomla version folder (eg. "Joomla! 2.5 Install Files";).
