I realize that this might not be your area, but hoping that you have seen this before and found a solution.

Using the JCE Editor, type in the text, highlight it and click on text align, center or even right and nothing. It apparently won't center anything I.e. tables or text.

Reading other forums, someone thought that it was their template css file that over wrote JCE, but since you are still in the editor, that doesn't make sense.

I am getting around it with align="center" added to the code. BUT a PITA.

Hi BIll

Would you have a direct URL to an example the text align via your editor?

UPDATE: I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and that didn't help. I then uninstalled it and started using Arkeditor. This has been a few days later, and out of curiosity I reinstalled it and it is working right, now.

I have no idea why.

I just setup a new site with Juliet template and uploaded JCE editor. Again the text alignment buttons do nothing. I switched templates to Protostar and the same thing.

Hi Bill

Would you have a URL to an example of text you tried aligning using your editor? We can then examine the code used to align the text by your editor and why it is not functioning within the template.

Thank you Bill

Sorry to say there is nothing in your webpage source to align your text. This would indicate the the issue is with your editor instead of the template. It appears the align code is not been added. Have you considered contacting the editor developers on this issue?

Sorry to waste your time. I did send a message to Admin a week or so ago, nothing back, I looked at different forums and it seems that there is a problem, and most just use inserted code to get the text aligned. Seems strange that I fixed it on one site by reinstalling. Usually, corrupted code will crash a program. Will post a solution if I find one.
