Greetings,
I am using Polaris. My client wants it to work similar to the demo, so we have j51thumbsgallery in sidecol-b. When clicking on any of the images, they open in a new page. They do not open as a lightbox.

I uninstalled the mod that came with the package and reinstalled directly from J51. Still no luck.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Brian

Hi Brian

Sounds like there is a Javascript conflict with one of your other extensions. May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Hi

I have also having an issue of the lightbox for the thumbs module not opening (But only on the homepage with Firefox V28, it is fine on other pages or with IE8).

Also when the images do open in the lightbox they show for an instant then go almost opaque black, is that correct behaviour of the module?

The site is not yet live so I cannot post a link on a public forum but any suggestions will be gratefully received.

Hi Ciarán,

Thank-you for your assistance.

I installed the new module, but the new version made matters worse. Then there was no lightbox function on ANY page with IE8 OR Firefox.

I had a vague memory of issues like this similar modules being related to jquery so I installed the Joomla 3x version of jqueryeasy and set it to enable jquery. The lightbox issue was then fixed.

Great Jude.. thank you for the update.

jQuery Easy is always a good way of ensureing only one version of jQuery is loaded throughout your site which can cause issues.
