Hi Peter

Would you have a URL to an example fo the area you wish to make transparent?

http://joomla.pschmili.de/transparent

It should be clear only the contents of the "Transparent" page.
The entry in Custom CSS has no effect (opacity: 0.5; or background-color: rgba (250, 250, 250, 0.8);)
Thanks for your help

Hi Peter

Presuming I understand you correctly try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (edit to taste)...

#container_main {
background-color: rgba(250, 250, 250, 0.5);
}
