J51 Thumbs Gallery not creating thumbs

Hi,

The J51 thumbs gallery module has been working fine. I've created a new gallery of photos, but the module does not create the thumbs?

Can you help please?

Hi Gerrit

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation along with a URL with an example of your 2 galleries to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further.

Had the same problem.

Mine was because the images I was trying to use were using the extension .JPG and that causes a problem once I renamed them to end in .jpg they all worked right away.

Hello

Could you ensure that Joomla has the server permissions to create new files... from your Joomla administration navigate to System -> System Information -> Directory Permissions and ensure all folders are writable.

Thank you for the reply. Only the «configuration.php» file is unwritable. Can you tell me how to make iy writable?

The «configuration.php» is now writable, so all the folders are now writable and it's still doesn't work. Can you help me with that

Strangely it appears that the GD library is not enabled on your server. This library is a server side library for resizing images and is used by the thumbs gallery module. May I suggest contacting your host and requesting that this library be enabled.

Problem solved!!! I've been able to enable the GD Library myself.
