J51_slideshow does not work

Hi,

I have identical problem as many people had before - J51 slideshow installed with J51_Oxygen template (free one) has been set up but does not work :( .

Unfortunatelly, you did not provide any solution nor fix description to follow it. I would prefer before to gain you temporary access to a site you to give a few advices of how to avoid most common mistakes installing the Oxygen tepmlate and its slideshow to get them working.

I have discovered that problem is not with slideshow module - it is working properly for another templates. The problem is caused by J51_Oxygen template itself - this template has not any positions displayed under /?tp=1. So showcase position does not exist to be set up for the slideshow module. Login module cannot be displayed for the sidecol-b position as well.

Something is wrong with J51_Oxygen - could you correct your template guys? I just downloaded it and install without any customizing - and IT IS NOT WORKING with Joomla 3.2.0 version.

I found solution myself, added into the template index.php code following line (marked in red):

<div id="container_slideshow" class="container"><div class="wrapper960">
[color=#ff0000]<jdoc:include type="modules" name="showcase" />[/color]
<?php require( nexus.DS."php/layouts/slideshow.php";); ?>
</div></div>

Interesting, why your template manager is not able to do this automatically?
