j51 slideshow cutting height of image

The slideshow is set to 455 px height but no matter how much I increased the height, it cuts off the slide image, not showing the bottom part.
any advice?

It is difficult to troubleshoot without been able to see the issue however I suspect your images are not in ratio to the slideshow. Your slideshow will extend the images to fill the slideshow space. If your images are not in ratio with your slideshow then this will result in either the horziontal or vertical been cropped.

You are correct. The width of the image is less than the settings.
