Hi there,
this site:
http://305wq.w4yserver.at/service.html
2 issues concerning the J51 Skylar Blog Mansory:
1. there are dots at the end of each item, which I didn't add in the content. I can't hide them via css because they are from somewhere hardcoded.
See here:
it may come from trunkate, but no matter how many characters I allow or enter, these dots stay.
Where can I get rid of them?
2. I need a description above the items. But I can't add a category description, since it's hidden (don't know why; I put the view on display) and it's not even displayed via leading item.

So how can I add this above (and it should be part of the items)?
Thank you for your help.
Tina

Sorry, CiarĂ¡n, you forgot to delete the bottom. Now the category desc is twice...
http://305wq.w4yserver.at/service.html
and: the order does not match with the rule I entered. It should be the order of the articles. But it's not working.
Thank you!

Hi Tina
Are there any outstanding issues? The issue regarding the category description should be now amended.

Hi Ciaran, yes the order doesn't work properly, the order does not match with the rule I entered. It should be the order of the articles. But it's not working.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hello
You appear to have the order set to your global config which is current set to Category Order. As all your items for this page (services) are in the same category, you may find that you are getting unpredictable results. In what order would you like these items to be displayed?

Hi Ciaran,
no, I am afraid you looked at the wrong setting. Becaue in that case, when I load many items (articles) of one category (like service) the article order is the one which is responsible for the order of the articles on the specific page. And this is not working properly. See:
Setting of the menu item:
Order of the items (articles):
Order on the page which is different of the article order:
Thanks

Hi Tina
My apologies for the delay. It took us some time to get to the bottom of this one. It appears Joomla does not like layout anything far removed from the standard Bootstrap layouts.
I have amended your masonry layout, hopefully resolving this issue?

And thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We somehow missed this in our testing!
