Hi, I'm trying to run a quiz component on my website, but it won't run properly. They say that the template is preventing jquery from loading proplerly:

"We can see that the necessary scripts (such as jQuery and jquery-ui-1.9.2.custom and some others) cannot be loaded on the site"

What's the best way to resolve this?

Thanks

Hello

Have you tried the following article regarding Javascript conflicts?.. https://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/item/resolving-javasript-errors-in-joomla-using-jquery-easy

I did try that, but the extension has changed a fair bit and I can't work it out. I'll contact the jquery easy developers. Thanks.

An update on this. I paid the developer of jquery easy to resolve all conflicts on my site, which they have now done for me. But the quiz component continues to not work properly on only the J51 renovate template (it works fine on the joomla default templates like beez and protostar)

There's a drag and drop test (2nd page of the test) on this URL; https://www.websafestaff.com.au/full-test
where the dragging is all messed up. i.e. the cursor isn't over the boxes that you try and drag.

I'm not really sure where to go to from here. jQuery is sorted, the quiz component developer said it's a template problem causing jquery issues, and I can only replicate this problem on the renovate template.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you

Adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your template settings appears to have resolved the issue...

#jq_quiz_container {
line-height: 1em;
}

It appears your component requires a strict line height.
