J51_news module 3.0.12 after update image is no longer a link

After update from J3 to J4 Template Riley:
If I install the module J51_News (version 3.0.12) from the Joomla 4 template Riley (update module from version 3.0.x) and set the "Display Button" to "Yes" in the settings, the post can no longer be viewed click the picture.
I compared the settings, it works with a J4 bianca template, it doesn't work with Riley in J4?!

Yes, the code works!

Strangely enough this corner decoration is missing in the J3 template or rather in the module of the earlier version. Something went wrong when creating the page.
It's only when the "Read More" button is on.
I can live with it. THANKS

To amend could you try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

.j51news .j51news-image::after {

    pointer-events: none;

}


It seems the image corner decoration is covering the linked element.
