J51 News Module

I'm trying to run the J51 News module rather than a category blog but I'm coming up with two issues.

1. The URL linked from the item is coming up as - https://newcollett.co.uk/index.php/about-us/project-focus?view=article&id=1:twentyshilling&catid=15:project-focus rather than just a direct link to the article.

2. the module is then showing on the bottom of the article page and I don't want it to.

Can you help? I'm scratching my head!

Hi Shell

Presuming I understand you correctly, for Joomla to be able to assign/unassign a module on any particular page it requires that the page have a menu item related to it. As I see it your solution would be one of the following..

1. Create a hidden menu. A quick Google search should give you plenty of information on this.
2. Use an extension that gives more elaborate module assignment possibilities. By far the most popular is... https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/advanced-module-manager/
