I am using the Amelia template. On your demo template, the homepage, j51_news module, if you click a news item, the link opens in a new page. But on mine, the link opens on the same page, so you have to scroll down the page to get to the news content.
How can I make it open in a new page?
Hello
May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Hi Bill
To hide modules on articles where no menu item exists, you must create a 'hidden' menu item. I have created this menu item for you (Menus -> Hidden).

Thanks, Ciarán, I see what you did, but I don't understand it yet. Any tutorial yet? I have it set for 2 blog columns but it's only doing one. The other strange thing is that
the 2nd blog, The value of joining... the text is not all upper case but it displays it (read more) all upper case.
Thanks

Hi Bill
To explain the reasoning for creating the hidden menu item may I suggest the following... https://joomla.stackexchange.com/questions/68/how-can-i-control-the-module-display-on-pages-with-no-menu-item
This entire article appears to be in H3 tags, is this correct?

Thanks, Ciarán,
I'm reading the linked info, hopefully I'll be smarter when done. I* did not know that making it h4 would convert it to all caps, good to know. Changed it to a pixel size.
Still puzzled that the blog is 1 column wide when I have it set to 2 except on a mobile.

I think that I'm understanding the concept for the need/use of hidden menus. Hopefully when kvo3369 returns this will help them and others hat run into this "article opens in the same page"
Most of the time, if you have a read me button, you would want it to open in the same page as it's the total article. But as in the Demos there are articles/modules on the home page and it messes up things if they go to the top of the home page and open. Thus the need for a hidden menu/link to send them to their own page or a related page.
What helped me the most were these 4 Youtube videos:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8RrOiMHSg4
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQ9gMRlCiEQ
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZkO-RAz_xSA
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJ33yLG0M_U
When I get lost/stuck I go to Youtube and type in "Joomla tutorial xxxxxxxxx" Usually after 2 or 3 of those, it clicks, maybe for you younger people 1 or 2.
