j51_nadia - Home Button does not work

Hello, i need some help with the template nadia. I have a logo, which is very long, so it seems, that the logo is overlyed over the first buttom of the navigation: home. I had a look in the css and see an z-index from 1034 , but this seems to be in a post and not in the css. Can you help me with that? But i have another problem - maybe you can help me with that:
I want the slideshow to been shown only on the first site, but not on the other sides!
Is there any code for that?
