I am using J51_Chloe with the J51_Layerslideshow, assigned only to the homepage.
I also use the J51_News in a menu-item. The articles in the j51_News have the "read more" button. After clicking the "read more" button, the full article opens but with the Layerslideshow on top. How do I disable the Layerslideshow in this case ?

Hello

This is one of the trickier aspects of Joomla. Because your articles don't have a menu item, there is no way to assign/un-assign modules to them. Joomla, therefore, uses the module assignment of the parent menu item (in this case your homepage).

So 2 options.

1. Create a hidden menu for your articles so you can then un-assign the modules on them (https://magazine.joomla.org/issues/issue-mar-2014/item/1790-using-hidden-menus)

2. Use a plugin like.. https://www.regularlabs.com/extensions/advancedmodulemanager
