Hello together,

I have a strange problem with the mobile menu on my site.
https://k3x.de/
If you want to click the menu items in the mobile view, which in turn have submenu items, you cannot click the top menu item so that you get to the page. You can only open the submenu.

Example: I click on level 1 "Dienstleistungen" but cannot actively visit the "Dienstleistungen" page. I can then only see the menu items of level 2, whose page I cannot actively see either, since level 3 still exists. Only here can I then actively visit a page. In the desktop view everything is perfect.

Can someone help me please? I'm just struggling with the problem.
Many thanks in advance, Katrin

Hello

Does switching the General -> Responsive Options -> Mobile Menu Type to SlickNav resolve the issue for you?

Hello Ciaran,

no same problem. Please have a look.....

I can give you an admin access, if it will help.

Greetings, Katrin

Edit: 2023-04-16: the problem is also on desktop displays with touchscreens. Do you have any idea?
If not, please tell me. At this time they are working on the texts and I want to finish this project as soon as possible.
Thank you, katrin

Hello Ciaran,

can you please give me an answer if there is a chance to solve the problem? Otherwise I have to rebuild something similar in Cassiopeia or another template.
My client is also waiting.....

Thanks for a short Feedback so that I decide which way I should go.

Hi Katrin

If I understand you correctly, the following article should help to resolve this issue?.. https://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/template-customization/mobile-menu-linking-parent-items

If not, may I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Thank you Katrin

I have amended your template mobile menu to 'allowParentLinks' using the slickNav variation. Now touching outside of the text opens the child items while touching the text opens the link if it exists.

Hello Ciaran,
perfect. Can you also do this for the SlideOut variation? That would be very perfect.

Hi Katrin

I am sorry to say that this option is not available with the slideout variant of the mobile menu.
