J51 ImageLinkHover - image and description

Hi Ciaran,

I hope you are well.
I would like to add a module on the home page, to display people photo thumbnails, name and description. Then the Hover would be a little bio and link to another page.

In the template "Robyn", it seems that there is no "Title" and "Description" Parameters. unlike stated in the j51-imagelinkhover tutorial. Is it a different module?

Please could you point to the right direction?

Hi Hervé

The tutorial mentioned is for a different, older module (ImageLinkHover) to that included with your template (Imagehover - https://joomla51.com/free-module-extensions/item/j51-imagehover). Considering their titles and that we don't appear to have a tutorial for the more recent Imagehover module, the confusion is certainly understandable!)

Considering your requirements, I would suggest our J51 Profile module (find attached). An example of this module can be seen here... https://www.joomla51.com/demo/0137/index.php/sample-pages/about-us

IF you would like the module exactly as demonstrated in your screenshot, may I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will create the override for you. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Hi Ciaran,

Thank you very much for your helpful reply, and the module.
I am very sorry not to have reply earlier. As this site for a .coop is one I am involved in, as a volunteer, I completed the first version to go live, and will come back later to polish the profiles page. I will then apply your sound advices ;-)
