J51 - ImageHover Gallery Hover Effect doesnt work on mobile phone. Template j51_natalie – Standard


The hover effect does not work on the cell phone or on the PC if the screen size is set to mobile. Normally the hover effect appears when you swipe with the mouse.

Hello

It is difficult to offer a solution as there is no 'hover' on a touch device. The solution provided is the only option I can think of.

To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

@media (max-width: 767px) {

    .j51imagehover figcaption {

        opacity: .7;

        transform: none;

    }

    .j51imagehover figcaption * {

        opacity: 1;

    }

}

I added the code but now the hover effect is visible all the time.

Yes, but the problem is that this solution now means that it is always displayed on the web view.
