Hello,

On my website (Nocturne template) the text, title, button etc. shows of this Image hover module, however it does not show the images (filler1 etc.). I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the module, have checked if everything is still set the way it was when the images did show (they just dissappeared) and everything in the backend seems to work fine, they just won't show on frontend.

Can anybody help please? We really need this module to work as we want to refer to products in our webshop with it (for example).

Thanks in advance!
Simone

Hi Simone

In your modules mod_j51imagelinkhover.php (../modules/mod_j51imagelinkhover/mod_j51imagelinkhover.php) try replacing the following....

<div class="j51container effect" style="background-image: url("/<?php echo $j51_image; ?>"); width:<?php echo $picW;?>px; height:<?php echo $picH;?>px;">

With..

<div class="j51container effect" style="background-image: url(<?php echo $j51_image; ?>;); width:<?php echo $picW;?>px; height:<?php echo $picH;?>px;">

If you could let me know if this works for you it would be appreciated.

Hi Ciarán,

As this account has been set up in my husbands name, I only got this message this morning (he had not checked his email before, sorry). In the meantime I have started a new website with this template on a subdomain, not having implemented the demo setting it up from scratch with the extension for Hikashop. Here the images worked fine.

I have however implemented your suggestion in the original website and this worked, thank you!

It was advised to me to start the website without the demo installed as the demo takes up much space and uses files I am unaware of if I will continue to need these once set up. I have bought the styling extension from Hikashop as well, but the menu on the side showing the products looks nothing like the one on their demo of that style. Do I need to adjust the css from their style or the one from your template to make it look like it should? And would you have a suggestion how and where to do so when the solution is in the css of this j51 template?

The subdomain is: http://www.fotoverweij.vanaltena.nl/joomla30/

You see I have used their menu module as well as the one from this template. Under the categories of the products I would like to have a collabsable submenu with the products belonging to that category, this is possible with their module, if I can make it work that is... But is this possible with the menu module of your template as well as this looks very nice as well?

Thank you very very much for your help!

Hi Simone

Would you have a URL an example of how your Hikashop extension is suppose to look compared to how it is displayed on your site?

I suspect your Hikashop menu extension is linked in with the component so rather than having to create each menu item, it will create each of them on the fly. You could probably use the default Joomla menu which the template includes styling for however you will have to create each link manually.
