I purchased and installed your j51 Metropolis theme and I have also installed the mod_j51thumbsgallery to http://www.mobilehoneywagon.com. Every thing is working except when I create a new folder called gallery and upload images it does not work. when I select it as the file location for the images. It works fine when i select data from the existing sampledata folder like animals which is installed with Joomla.

I checked the permissions and that does not seem to be an issue. They seem to be set the same as the sample gallery. You can see the Gallery working here. Is there something else I need to do when I create a gallery folder. I created a folder called Gallery with a folder called thumbs and uploaded the images to each respective folder.

I also tried to create gallery under the sampledata directory but that does not work either.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Hello

One possible issue is the format of the file names for your images. For best results ensure that there is no spaces in your file names and that your file extensions is in lowercase (myimage.jpg not my image.JPG).

Thank you Ciaran. That was the problem. The images had no spaces but were named with capital JPG instead of jpg.

Much appreciated. Patti
