J51_Ensley_J4: Front-End Editing Button missing

Hi Ciaran

when I login to the Front-End in order to edit existing articles, in some situation the [Edit] button is missing.

Articles in a category blog:
- the [Edit] button is only visible after clicking the [Readon] button
- articles without a [Readon] button have no [Edit] button at all

Also ensure that you have the latest version of the template installed which is currently 1.1.2 :)

Hi Ciaran

I found out, that the «Edit» buttons are there when we use «Category Blog - Masonry». But then the 2 column layout does not work. «Category Blog - Masonry» is always displayed with 1 column.

To amend we have added the following to the Custom CSS field of your template settings...

.blog-item {

  position: relative;

  overflow: visible;

}

.blog-item .icons {

    top: -20px;

}


We will be adding this fix to the next template update.
