Hey Ciaran,

How can I get rid of the message?
The message comes when I switch from PHP 8.0 to PHP 8.1.
The message does not appear with PHP 8.0. Only with PHP 8.1.

Tested templates: Emani, Everly and Grace.

Kindly,
Chris

Hi Chris

I have made some changes to your template which should hopefully resolve these issues. Could you confirm this for me?

If all is resolved I will create a new release for the Emani template with this update.

Thank you
Ciaran

Hi Chris

Regarding the Icons module, installing the latest version appears to have resolved the issue (attached).

For the issue you mentioned in your latest comment, just to confirm that this is a template related issue, could you try enabling one of the default Joomla templates and see if the issue still exists? GOing by the error message, I suspect that this may not be related to your template.

Hey Ciaran,

Thanks for the Icons module, the error message is gone now :)

And you are right. The other deprecated notice is not because of the template.
I have to think about what I'm doing here, but thank you very much for updating the template and that you sent me the latest version of the extension!

Kindly,
Chris

HI Chris

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

The problem is probably really because of the newer php version 8.1.
An error message also appear with J51 icons, as you can see on my screenshots. (I haven't checked all the extensions yet.)
The module style "mod_simple" also leads to an error message, as you can see on my screenshots.
This is pretty frustrating. I think you need to overwrite the codes and update the templates and extensions.

Kindly,
Chris

P.S. I'm not sure about this, but I have the impression that "Animate on Scroll" doesn't work correctly anymore either.

Good evening Ciaran :o

Thanks! As for the template, it looks fine now. I've played around a bit, but so far no further error messages have appeared.

Hope you can also bring an update for the J51 icons.

Kindly,
Chris

Hey Ciaran,

I found another error message on my mobile phone :(
When i click between the marked items in the menu, i get an error message. Check my screenshots.
Hope you get what I mean. But I also attached a screenshot of the error message itself.
This error message is only displayed for a second and only on the mobile phone.
Just click around between "Impressum", "Datenschutz" and "Bildnachweis".

Correction:
I think the error message comes with all menu items.
Even if I refresh the page I see the error message for a second. I'm about to cry a river :( :(

But please don't forget the J51 icons. This error message is also important :D

Kindly,
Chris
