Hello

To remove the header line try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters..

#container_header {
border: medium none;
box-shadow: none;
}

An option to edit the top menu item color is available under the 'Menus' tab of your templates parameters.

From the top menu of this page try navigating to Tutorials -> Hiding the component/article area on a page (under 'Template Customization).
