I recently did an upgrade to J4 and I installed the J4 version of Chloe. From that moment on the edit button when front-end editing only shows correct for the first article of the blog. The button for the 2nd article shows up above the first article. The following articles don't have the option to edit.

Could this be the cause of the template? I dont run a lot of plugins/comp on the site. Disabling them one by one doesnt solve the problem. Some pages show fine, others don't. I also deleted the few lines of custom CSS to no avail.
