Dear Ciaran,

In Chelsea template and I'm using the category blog to display our news and events. I have checked your new templates and they are having a beautiful news module that I would like to use. Is it possible to download the new J51_News_module (as the one in Sophia template for example) and integrate it in my Chelsea template?
I have checked the forum and noticed similar requests and tried to download the new news-module file you provided and installed it but it didn't change anything (the old news_module remained as it is even after I deleted it and installed the new one), it didn't give me the features of the new module.

Any help in this regard?

Thanks,
Mai

Hi Ciaran,

Can you please guide me how to that?
I looked into the FTP end via FileZilla and found
.../httpdocs/templates/j51_chelsea/html/mod_j51news

Is this the file I have to rename? And is this where I should do the renaming or through the Template files on Joomla?? Excuse my poor knowledge in these issues :(

Thank you

You appear to have created an override for your News module in your template. Does renaming ../templates/j51_checlsea/html/mod_news to mod_news_backup resolve the issue for you?

After multiple attempts, the debug mode is set to Yes now. Please check it out.

Hello Ciaran,

In fact I'm not aware what went wrong! Does it need to be set to Yes or to No?

Thank you Mai

We appear to be having an issue enabling debug mode on your Joomla installation. Navigate to System -> Global Config -> System and set Debug System to yes. After save this setting reverts back to no. Are you aware of this issue? Any idea what may be causing it?

Thank You Ciaran for sending the new module file.

I have uninstalled the old module and installed the new one successfully. Unfortunately, nothing is displayed in the module assigned position. Tried several options and positions and it only shows the module title!
A link to the issue https://leangene-jo.com/index.php/our-news (currently assigned to bottom-1a position)
I will send you the temporary access details via email.

Thanks,
Mai
