Dear Ciaran,

My home page is acting strangely; https://www.afmssc.com/index.php

1. The Animate on Scroll Down feature does not act properly. I noticed that the page is loading from middle to top and that somehow deactivate or disable the Animate on Scroll Down feature. The page does not load normally (from top) while all other pages are loading fine and the animation feature on other pages is working properly for all modules.
It's also worth mentioning that the Home page acts normally on Responsive mode and the Animate on Scroll Down feature works perfectly fine.

2. The J51_LayerSlideshow Animation Settings do not work. Slide Title and Caption do not animate or respond to the animation settings.

Other questions on J51_LayerSlideshow module:
1- What does "Hide overflow" exactly do? I could not understand the description well and since the animation is not active, I was not able to see the difference.

2- What custom css code I can use to remove the box around the Caption? I tried setting the color to transparent but it kept the shadow of the box. I want it to look like Nina Template style.

3- How to minimize the Slide fonts (Caption & Title) on smaller screens?

P.S. Your access to the site is still active.

Thank you in advance,
Mai

Hi Mai

1. Admittedly we are having an issue replicating this issue but as a shot in the dark, try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

@media only screen and (min-width: 1080px) {
#showcase1_modules {
min-height: 600px;
}
}

2. What is the title of your homepage slideshow module and we will examine this further?

Hide Overflow hides the overflow of the title / caption container when animated. You will only notice this for slide in effects where the text animations starts outside the container.

To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

.layerslideshow .info-wrapper {
box-shadow: none;
background: transparent;
}

Hello Ciaran,

Thank you for your feedback. The 1st code made the trick and now the page is loading from top. Although Top-1 still does not show the animation effect but Top-2 now does which is fair enough for this page.

The title of my home page slideshow module is "AFMS-Homepage - Showcase".

Hello

The animation issue should be now resolved.

To amend font sizes you can add the following to the Responsive Custom CSS fields within the General -> Responsive Options tab of your template settings. For more details on using these fields may I suggest the following article... https://joomla51.com/tutorials/template-parameters/applying-custom-css-to-a-screensize-device

(edit to taste)

.layerslideshow-title {
font-size: 20px;
}
.layerslideshow-caption {
font-size: 14px;
}
