J51 Amelia: parent-indicator

I made a migration from Joomla 3 to 4 including an upgrade of the template. Now I'm wondering about the missing parent indicator in the menu.

Does setting the parent menu item type to a Menu Heading resolve the issue for you?

Yes, this would be possible. But the parent menu item is a link to a overview page.

To amend try adding the following to the Head Custom Code field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Template Manager -> YourTemplate -> Custom Code -> Head Custom Code)...

Thank your for the answer. In principle the script works, but only for the last menu parent item. In my example "News" and "Media Centre" are parents.

May I ask which on browser are you having this issue? When we examine your site both "News" and "Media Centre" have parent indicators.

Yes, I changed the structure of the menu."News" is a menu heading now.
