Hi Ciaran -

Thank you for your continued excellent support of your templates.

I'd like to make a full-page slideshow on the home page that would also be responsive and fill the screen even on a phone display. What is happening now is that there is a big white space below the slideshow when seeing it on a phone. Is there a way to get rid of that white space? Check out this link on a phone. https://ungunk.com/nina/

On a related topic, is there a way to get rid of the scroll bars if there is a full-page slideshow on the home page on a desktop or laptop display? Here is a live site example of what I'm trying to do. This is not my site, just an example of what I'd like to achieve with the scroll bars gone.

Thanks,
Mark

Hi,

if you are in resposive mode, the screen sizes are different to the PC or Laptop screens. The layerslideshow module scales to show the whole image in e.g. smartphone mode. Thats why you see the whitespace below the footer.

But I am sorry I have no glue how to change this in a reasonable way because if you can scale the image to 100% height than you see only a part of the image...

About the problem with the scrollbars: try adding "overflow: hidden;" to your body tag in your custom.css:

body {overflow: hidden;}

See: https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_css_hide_scrollbars.asp

This should prevent the browser from showing scrollbars.

I am not quite sure if you then need a child template instance with another custom.css without overflow: hidden;.
Because maybe the scrollbars won't be shown on the other menu items.... have not tested it yet.
