J4 Natalie - fontawesome not working

Hello Ciaran,

unfortunately the fontwawesome icons in template J51_Natalie do not seem to work correctly.

I used the syntax 


<span class="fas fa-phone"></span>

but it does not work.

I also installed template J4 Layla and the icons work with this template correctly.

In the templates options under Typographie the option "Load fontwaesome" is set to YES.

The page was a migration from J3 to J4. i only did change the icons on the header-2 module positon in the right upper corner. All other icons are on the site do not have the correct syntax yet.

Maybe I have done something wrong?

Any help would be appreciated :)

Hi Oliver

To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

[class^="fa-"]::before, 

[class*=" fa-"]::before {

    font-family: inherit;

}
