Issues after installing Joomla 4 version of Maya Template

Hello Team,

Since our migration is complete, we are having issues in our template and site appearance.

The site is eklavya.in.
We are currently facing the following issues on our site related to the template :


  • Logo hover is showing some HTML text error
  • Main menu items are not showing the down-arrow. This was probably the template default
  • Need to show menu items in single line, not wrap-around
  • Slide title & description: In new one it's shown in center, we want it vertically at bottom.
  • Style of navigation arrows is different
  • Slide hyperlink: Works when there is no title and caption, but stops working when this is added.

Thank you for reporting these issues.

I have just created an update for this template which should resolve most of them for you. For details on updating your template may I suggest the following article.. https://joomla51.com/tutorials/joomla-basics/updating-your-joomla-template

Need to show menu items in a single line, not wrap-around
To ensure your menu items all fit on a single line, try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

(edit to taste)

.hornav > ul > li > a,

.hornav > ul > li > span {

    padding-inline: 12px;

}


Slide title & description: In new one it's shown in center, we want it vertically at bottom.
To amend try also adding the following to your Custom CSS field...

.layerslideshow .item-align-left .info {

    justify-content: flex-end;

}
