Hello,

Template: Piano forte
Joomla 3.2.1
Hosted on my own Linus server (Company Intranet)

I'm using Piano Forte Template and with all my tests, I used IE 10 and Chrome and everything was working fine but I asked my colleague to see my works and he got this message:

Did you know that your browser is out of date?
The site you are visiting can only be viewed using a modern browser. Please upgrade your browser to increase safety and your browsing experience. We strongly recommend upgrading to either Firefox, Opera, Safari, Google Chrome, or a more recent version of Internet Explorer.

He is using IE 9 as almost all computer of my company.

I made some research on you Knowledge Base and I modify scripts.php file to remove "If lte IE 7" part and this message disappear but Web Site is not working fine (Top Menu not there, Logo not a the good place ...)

Is there a way to fix this ?

Hello

If you are using IE9 there is no reason why this message should be displaying unless your browsers are set to IE7 Compatibility View as this code is placed within IE7 tags...

<!--[if lte IE 7]> .... <![endif]-->

To turn off compatibility view...

a. Open internet explorer.

b. Click on Alt key on the keyboard. Now click on Tools in menu bar.

c. Select Compatibility View Settings.

d. Remove the check mark for Display all websites in Compatibility View and close the Compatibility View Settings window.
