Hello,
i've tried your free Scarlett Template. Liked it very much. Never had to search anything in the documentation - understood it immediately.
Absolutely perfect.

Sometimes i need a one-pager Template. Is there one of the templates recommend for use as a one-pager?

Thanks for your answer!

Hello Ciarán,

Thanks for your reply. I set up last evening this, and get an error. The site just jumped to the anchor instead of scrolled. I found the reason. There was another js event on the menu items, that has not added on the button. I set up the class="menu" for the button, and the js could catch the click event also on my button, and worked the scrolling effect without problem.

Is this solution good? Or can cause problem?

Thanks again,
Have a very nice day,
Peter

Hello

In theory any Joomla template can be used as a one pager. You simply add an anchor to any part of your content and you can then link to that anchor using the External URL option and setting the URL to #your-anchor. A HTML anchor looks like the following...

<div id="your-anchor"></div>

The above anchor can be added to a custom module or within an article.

With our latest template (Kaylee) we have added to features specific to one pagers.

  • An offset option in the template settings. This allows you to set an offset on the anchor in pixels. Handy if you have a sticky header covering the top of a page and you find your anchored content is been covered by it when linked to.
  • Smooth scrolling. Basically an animated scroll to any clicked anchor.

Hi P

To link an external URL menu item to an anchor you can simply use the format #YourAnchor in the URL field.
