I have a website that I am designing on the domain http://tempdomain40.site which is not displaying correctly on the iPhone 7 or iPhone 10.

I don't know about the other iPhone models.

My client emailed me what he is seeing.

I have phone number and email set in Header 1 position but he says neither of them are displaying on his iPhone 5 or the iPhone 7 or iPhone 10 that are in his family.

His message to me is below:

James I take a look at the Site from the I7 and I10 phones. No phone number on either and the space is there on those phones as well. The white space was a little bit smaller but still looked odd.

I hope you have some custom css code that might help the situation or if I have something not set correctly on the template parameters.

I am happy to provide you the administrator login for the website.

Thank you very much for all the previous help you have provided me!

James

Thank you James

To amend try adding the following to the custom CSS fields in the Responsive Options tab of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Responsive Options)....

(Edit to taste)

.maincontent {
padding-top: 30px;
}

For further details on these fields may I suggest the following article.. https://joomla51.com/tutorials/template-parameters/applying-custom-css-to-a-screensize-device

My client sent two images tonight. I have attached both images.

I think I have fixed the issue with the phone number and email by separating them into header 1 and header 2 positions.

The issue that he doesn't like is the excessive white space at the top of each page.

On some of your older templates, I was able to reduce the padding in the .maincontent by going to the code but I don't know how with the Jasmine template.

You probably have coding that would allow me to reduce that space on both the desktop and mobile view.

I tried module overrides but I may not have put in the correct settings.

He just clarified tonight what he meant by the extra space. He was probably also noticing that the phone and email looked strange on the mobile view.

I always appreciate your excellent support.

I tell my clients that I only use your templates for my web designs.

I only have an android smart phone which displays the website perfect but my client is saying their iPhones are not displaying the phone or email at the top and there is excessive space.

They have an older 5, 7 and 10 iPhones which he says are not displaying correctly.

I found a web i6 emulator and it looked correctly.

I just don't know why he is showing something different on his iPhones than what I am seeing on my Samsung S9 plus.

I didn't know about hiding module positions in the responsive view.

That could be helpful in the future.

Thsnk you!

Hi James

Have you since found a solution to this issue as both email and phone number appear to be now displaying on all devices? Note that there is an option to enable/disable each module position on small screen devices in the Responsive Options tab of your template settings.
