I'm relatively new to Joomla. Just purchased the Enterprise template. I have an existing site on a VPS under Plesk; am happy to blow it away.

If I want to install the demo and use the Plesk Joomla install, do I simply upload the demo package and then install Joomla using Plesk? Will that work? If not, whats the best way of installing the demo package within the Plesk environment. Newbie question, I'd just assumed the demo package would be like a quick installer package I used the other week (and which I am removing).

Hello

May I suggest the following article on setting up your demo installer... https://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/item/setting-up-the-demo-installer

Note firstly you will need to create a new database and user for your Joomla installation. The following article appears to detail how to do this within the Plesk environment.. https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/12.5/customer-guide/advanced-website-databases/creating-databases.65157/

Thanks, Ciaran. I found that link to the tutorial after submitting my question but had no way to recall the question. So all installed and good. I realised after finding it that there was simply a difference in jargon about "demo install" and "quick install" whereas they are both the same thing - feeling a little dumb after the fact, but then with anything new it's always a challenge to know what you need to understand and obvious how simple it is after you know the answer. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to answer my question.
:)
