I have another question re: Impulse, but I guess this could apply to most templates...

If I want to leave the 'hornav' section alone, but include a full width logo above the hornav section (in impusle, it would be in the area that the search bar is located in your demo server section), is this something that can be done, if so, how?

Hello
I guess firstly you will need to increase the height of this area above your top menu. To do so add the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters where 100px is the new height of this area..


#container_spacer3 {height: 100px;}


You can then re position the logo using the X and Y fields in the logo tab of your templates parameters. Note you can place a minus figure in the Y field to move the logo up.

You may also need to increase the size of the logo area. A tutorial to do so is available here... http://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/item/re-sizing-the-logo-area
