I use the ImageSlideShow module extensively on this client's joomla 2.5.11 site, using Indulge, which I just updated from Joomla 2.5.9: http://www.santafeinteriordesign.net/

There are dozens of modules for different slideshows on the site. The version of the module that's installed is 2.5.0. I downloaded the latest module and tried installing it over the existing one but Joomla said there was already a module installed in that folder.

I can't tell what the version is of the new module: mod_briask16_17_2.5.zip

Two questions:
For security reasons do we need to install the mod_briask16_17_2.5.zip?
If so, do I need to uninstall the old one and reconfigure every slideshow?
