Hi again, back with a question about the thumbs gallery extension. It seems like a great module but not all of my images are the exact same size. So some thumbnails should end up being 100x74, 100x75, 100x94, 100x87, etc.

However, it seems you can't do "auto" size for either height or width, so the thumbnails are either squeezed or stretched and must all fit into the exact same dimensions, which messes up the aspect ratio and makes half of the thumbnails look fine and the other half look out of proportion.

Is there any way to change the settings or code so that the thumbnails all display as a particular height, but with adaptable width so that the aspect ratio is maintained? Thanks!

Hello

Sorry to say this option is not currently available for this module however a popular fix is to place images of different dimensions within a frame. For example if most image are 600 * 600 and one image is 400 * 600 you would place a frame/border of 100px each side of your image to match the dimensions of your other images (600 * 600).

Hi, thanks so much for getting back to me but unfortunately, adding borders won't work (I need something in the code to maintain aspect ratio rather than messing around with the images themselves), so I won't be able to use the extension for now. If you work this fix into a later update though, I'd certainly love to get it then, because it otherwise seems like a great module!
