Regarding the slideshow on the demo of the Nocturne template, it appears to be working correctly. Is there a particular browser you are having this issue ( http://demo.joomla51.com/?theme=Nocturne )?

i cannot see the slideshow on the link you give and i am using firefox.. the latest version.

i just used my web tools over the slideshow and it says it is taking its images from /banners.

is that correct because that sounds like the problem i was having.
have you cleared your cache and then looked?

That is strange. We have checked using the latest version of Firefox as well as a number of other browsers without issue. It is also an issue that to our knowledge hasn't effected any other users. Are you having the same issue with the our Impulse or Letterpress template as these also use the same slideshow? Have you checked using a different browser to FireFox?

hi. no, they work fine. do you use the banners folder then for the images in nocturne??

my sites seemed to reset to what i said in the first post after the last joomla 3 instal.

Yes the slideshow in our Nocturne demo uses the ../images/banners folder to obtain the slide images as is the slideshow on our Metropolis template demo (http://demo.joomla51.com/0098/index.php/features/module-positions).
