Ciaran

I am using Serenity and after a number of updates to the back end of the site the template parameters are no longer accessible. Can you help?

Thank you

Peter

Ciaran, yes, that sorted the template parameters issue, thank you!

I still have the problem with the menu tag lines.

Kind regards

Peter

Hi Peter

Thank you for the update. Regarding the tag lines, do you wish to remove them?

Hello

To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

.hornav > ul > li > ul > li > a::after,
.hornav > ul > li ul > li > ul > li > a::after {
display: none;
}

Hello

I am not seeing the suggested CSS in your site source. Can you confirm that you have added this code to the correct template style?

I have added it to the J51-serenity-default, which is highlighted as the default. Have I done something else wrong?

Hello

The default template style will only display if no other style is assigned to a page. You will need to check each of your template styles 'Menu Assinment' tab to know what styles are applied to each of your pages.

I have deleted all other styles, still not fixed. Maybe there's something else in my Custom CSS conflicting with it. Oddle the favicon is not longer showing...

Hello

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Hello

I have moved the suggested CSS to the start of your Custom CSS field which appears to have resolved the issue. You may need to check the rest of your custom CSS, this fix indicates a syntax issue somewhere.
