Hi,

I have a menu on my website that I can't get rid of. I've attached a couple of screenshots. I've stripped down the menus, so that I now only have one menu (called Top Menu, which has 5 items on it). I thought that this would solve the problem, but it hasn't.

The offending menu is in the top left hand corner.

Thanks

David

Hello

Most of our templates have a menu built-in without the need for a menu module. You can disable this menu by navigating to the Menus tab of your template settings and setting the Convert to Module Position (hornav) option to Yes.

Thank you Ciaran,

I would like to recreate something similar to your demo page and I'm not doing very well. I'd like to be able to put the menu into the banner, as you've done and to have the logo text in an enlarged part of the banner (as you've done with "Serenity";). At the moment I can only place it above the banner and the style changes when I place it on the left and on the right (see attached photos). Also, how do I get the three floating modules below the top image?

Thanks

Hello again Ciaran,

I've navigated to the Menus tab of the template settings and changed the setting the Convert to Module Position (hornav) option to Yes (see photo). I've saved this and the other photo shows you the result.

Thank you David

Testing your site on both Chrome and Firefox, we are unable to replicate your screenshot where both mobile toggle and menu are visible at the same time. Could I ask you to try a full refresh on your browser (CTRL + F5) and see if the issue persists?

Hello again Ciaran,

I'm having some difficulty with the look of the template on our website and I'm getting into a bit of a mess! You've seen the problem with the look of the template and the appearance of two menus when viewed from Chrome on my laptop (and the Ctrl f5 doesn't cure the problem). Some time ago I separated the J51 Serenity template and used one for oxfordcitywalk & the other for thesightseeingtour. The look of the first is the problem and I just can't trace how I managed to get the second one to work. I can't find it in the backend!! I like the look of the menu on the second one, but not the first (plus, there's the problem with the two menus issue). I've attached two screen shots. The first you've seen, but not the second.

Since I'm in the process of rebuilding, do you think it will be better to uninstall the template and start again?

Let me know if you need access into the backend and I'll reactivate your login details.

Thanks,

David

Hi David

Your second screenshot is displaying the mobile version of your main menu. If you navigate to the Responsive Options tab of your template settings you can amend the Mobile Menu Breakpoint field. Reducing the value set in this field should resolve your issue.

Hi Ciaran,

It was set to 1140 and I've reduced it to 1080 and it's worked! Thank you so much! :)
