Is it possible to reduce the body size of the template ??

Thanks Ciaran and excuse my English school .... :P :P
I read in another post that it was impossible to change your template body size. As a result I have reduced my slideshows and centered, editing the php. The aim was to fit everything on the home page for better viewing on tablet devices.
It was not what I wanted, but it is the same.
