Hello,

I copied and renamed the default template Privilege. I changed the layout of the new template but I'm not sure why the slideshow will not work as with the original default template so I've decided to start from scratch and re-copy. Once this was done it still kept the original copy as default in addition to the default template. The new copy is defined as preview.

How can I delete or disable the erroneous copy. I really can't figure out why the slideshow will not work as with the default template. I always run into small glitches that take up my time.. thanks again for your help.

Hi April

I am not sure if I understand you correctly. Templates can be uninstalled via your Extensions Manager (Extensions -> Extensions Manager -> Manage). To disable a template simply disable it via your Template Manager (Extensions -> Template Manager).

Regarding the slideshow could you detail for me in what way it is not working?

OK.. I don't see my copied templates in Extension Manager.. I only see the main Joomla51 Privilege Template. So I took the default template, saved a copy to use on another page, named it (J51 - Privilege (hire). You have these instructions to change the layout for another page.

I now want to delete the copied template (J51 - Privilege - hire). It does not show up in the Extension Manager. When I check the box under template manager, select delete it tells me its a default and will not remove it. I don't see where to disable it either. Thank you..

Hi April

Templates listed in the 'Extensions Manager' are templates that have been installed. Your ''Template Manager' lists your styles for each template. Duplicating a style in your template manager simply creates a new set settings (style) for that same template.

It is not possible to delete the default style or to uninstall a template whos style is the default. The default template style can be set in your 'Template Manager'.
