I am not sure if I understand you correctly. Could you detail for us what you mean changing the Menu Tag ID to mobile? Would you have a URL to an example of your issue?

in fact, when I set the menu in my new template nocturne, I could read this explanation:

If creating a multi-language site a duplicate menu module needs to be created for the responisve mobile menu. Duplicate each language menu module setting the position to hornav-mobile and set the Menu Tag ID to mobile.

But I don't know where I have to go to set the Menu Tag ID to mobile...
I have selected my Select Hornav menu with the french menu by default.

With my last template I could see the english menu as well as the french menu at the same place. It is not working right now. If you want to check waht I mean, please go to http://www.ieconsultant.ca

If you clic on english flag the menu doesn't appear..
How can fix my english menu at the same position hornav-mobile?

Hello

The Menu Tag ID can be added within the menu modules parameters. From your Joomla administration navigate to Extensions -> Module Manager -> [YourMenuModule] -> Options -> Advanced Options -> Menu Tag ID which should be set to moomenu

I have tried to follow your rules, but nothing is happened. I have always the same problem.

I can see my french menu and when I clic in the flag english, my english menu doesn't appear at all. In your template j51 Nocturne I have set the Menu in the template manager as below:

For Hornav Menu Settings
Select Hornav menu : Menu-fr
Hornav Text Color : #FFFFFF
Dropdown Background Color : #EBEBEB
Convert to Module Position (hornav) : OFF
If I set to OFF I can see my menu fr but if I set to On my menu-fr disapear

For Footer Menu Settings
Select Footer menu : Main Menu
Convert to Module Position (footermenu): : OFF

First, Is my setting good?

I have tried to follow the following advice.

All my articles have their language. All my Menu in french or english have their language too. I did the association for each article and each menu.

So, I have created two menu; Menu-fr and Menu-en with the position to hornav-mobile for each other. I add moomenu to the Menu Tag ID of my modules parameters in advanced options for the Menu-fr and for the Menu-en. Nothing is working.
I have tried to add moomenu in the Menu Tag ID for the Menu-fr and set mobile in the Menu Tag ID for the menu-en. Nothing is working too.
I have tried the last combinaison to add mobile in the Menu Tag ID for the Menu-fr and the Menu-en. Nothing is working too.

In fact, I can see my Menu-fr only and the flags in the position breadcumbs. When I clic on english flag my menu-en is empty. nothing is appeared..
here my setting for the Menu Tag ID:


Menu Tag ID : mobile
Menu Class Suffix
Target Position
Alternative Layout :default
Module Class Suffix : dropdown
Caching : no catching
Cache Time : 900

Where is the problem?

Rather than creating a menu module for each of your languages I have created a template style for each language. From your Joomla administration navigate to Extensions -> Template Manager and you will see two styles for your Nocturne template. The first (J51_Nocturne - Par défaut) is the default template style and is set to use your French menu. The second (J51_Nocturne - Par défaut (EN)) is your English template style and is set to use your English menu.

First, thank you for your help because my web site is working well. I help a friend who is started her company and use your
privilege template..
I have helped her and I have created for her two template one for french and one for english. I have created the french menu and the english menu and I keep the main menu.
I have set all pages in french and in english and activated the language switcher.
Now I can see just on flag and the second to change french for english.
I have tried to set the menu position at position 01 and nothing is working.

My question is for your J51_Privilege template wich position is for the menu? : position_01?
And what is the Suffixe CSS menu to have the drop down menu?

I have succed to set the French Menu but I could see only just the flag French and not the Flag English. Do you know the way to fix the problem?
