Good Morning Ciaran,
How do i create a hover state in a parent menu Item in Elvira when there is no Submenu?

Hello

To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

(edit to taste)

.hornav > ul > li > a:hover {

    color: #0060df;

}
