hornav menue gets blanked out on samsung tablet

Hello

I'm using the Caitlin template and found problems with the hornav menue, using the internet app on samsung tablet. It can be well demonstrated on the caitlin demo server.

This happens:
- Screenshot1: normal display when first loading the page
- Screenshot2: normal display when scrolling down, the hornav sticks on top
- Screenshot3: scrolling back to top, the hornav menue bar is empty

This is probably a bug of android, I don't know, but is there a way to overcome this in the webpage settings?

To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...

#container_hornav-sticky-wrapper {

    position: relative;

    z-index: 1040;

}

Just wondering have you since been able to resolve this issue? We have tried replicating on a number of Android devices on screensizes where this menu is displayed without success.

Hi Ciarán

No, I wasn't able to fix it and I still can reproduce it with my homepage and the Caitlin demo pages. It is probably an android issue, depending on software versions or configuratons. I'm trying to investigate this with more devices.

The tablet showing this malfunction is a Samsung Tab3 (GT-P5210), running Android 4.4.2 (newest available SW for this device)

I tested with a newer device with 6. generation Android, and this seems to work perfectly. Can you confirm that your tests were done using newer Android.

All test have been done using current Android 7.0

If you wish to accommodate older devices one option is to disable the sticky menu?

Yes, I think it might be a good option to disable the sticky menu to ensure compatibility. Is it correct that a Custom CSS is required for that?
