Hi,

I am wondering whether there is a way to lower the position of my hornav menu on my homepage? I'm using Boutique. - I was able to adjust the height of the menu on another website using Boss template with the code below - but it doesn't seem to work for Boutique.

#hornav {
position: relative;
top: 80px;
}

I'm also wondering if there's anyway to make images in the thumb gallery downloadable? If not, which gallery module would you recommend that would allow this feature?

Thank you!
Judy

Hi Judy

1. Try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters where 150px is the added space above your logo/menu (edit to taste)..

#logo-outside {
margin-top: 150px;
}

2. This option is not available with our ThumbsGallery module. Sorry to say I would not be familiar with any ThumbsGallery module that does include a download option for each image.

Thank you for such a swift response Ciaran! That worked! :laugh:

Just one more question about the menu: I noticed that the drop down view for the subitems in the menu doesn't work unless one is already on that page. Is there anyway to set the menu as shown in the template demo in which the drop down is activated at all times? I'm also wondering how to recreate the strip of highlighting color on a menu item when the mouse hovers over as can be seen in the demo as well?

Thank you!

Hi Judy

Would you have a URL to an example of this issue?

To re create the hover effect simply add the following to the 'Link CSS Style' field in your menu item settings...

hvr-underline-from-center

Thank you Ciaran! :)

The websites I have worked on are:
http://www.judypang.com
(Submenu under "Other Pursuits";)

http://www.richardmarkson.com
(Submenu under "Biography" and "Writings";)

They both have the same issue.

Thank you for your continued help!

Thank you

In your menu modules parameters ensure that you have set the ' Show Sub-menu Items' to yes.

Failing that may I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Thank you so much Ciaran. All solved! I did set the "Show Sub-Menu Items" to yes before but it resulted in them showing all the time - Now I understand that it was because the menu was not in the Hornav position then. All makes sense now. You've been a great help.
