Dear Sirs,

Your instruction on setting up Main Horizontal Menu in Choice template is quite clear but the problem is that I cannot find the Hornav Menu Settings anywhere within the Choice template. Where exactly can I find it? Infact I have not been able to set up any menus at all.

Secondly, I am wondering if by purchasing this template I have not short changed myself? Can I still use other components and modules that come natively with Joomla 2.5? There are some functionalities I would like to use but apparently not in the template I bought. How do I implement other components that come with Joomla? For instance I would like to change the layout but even the instruction on how to do it is not working for me. Am I not doing something right?

I am sorry if these questions seem basic but I am new to Joomla.

Thank you. Eagerly waiting for a reply please.

PS. I have included a screenshot of my Extensions Manager, showing no entry for Menu parameters.

Hello

To create a menu module in Joomla navigate to Extension -> Module Manager -> New -> Menu. Within in your menu modules parameters set as follows...

Show Title: Hide
Position: hornav
Select Menu: Menu you wish to link to
Show Sub..: Yes
Menu Tag ID: moomenu

Yes all components and modules default to Joomla are available regardless of the template you use. Module can be created via your module manager (Extensions -> Module Manager -> New). Components are administered via the Components dropdown and are enabled within your site by linking to them. To create a new link navigate to Menus -> [YourMenu] -> New.

Thank you Ciaran for the quick reply. Most grateful. Yes, I have been able to implement the Menu. Looks like a steep learning curve for me, but I am determined.I have known Joomla for ages but have shied away from using it.

Also I am happy to hear that components and module default to Joomla are available. Perfect!

Hope you will be patient with me as I will be asking many more questions!

So happy. Thank you once again Ciaran.
