Hide Title ignored in Stockholm template

In the J51-Stockholm template I have a Featured article for which Show Title is set to Hide. The title appears anyway.

Also, are you planning to provide a Joomla 4 version of Stockholm?

this is too little information. maybe a link to the site.
How is the post accessed? Does the post have a menu item? if so, take a look at the menu item options. You can also hide the title there. this setting could be over it...

Thanks for the hint. The Featured articles appear on the home screen. The home menu item doesn't display but it does have an option to show the article titles, which apparently overrides the setting on the individual Featured articles. I've now set that to hide titles and it took care of the one I wanted to hide. Unfortunately tt also hides titles for any other articles on the screen, but I can live with that.
